About Stayward


After years building and advising digital subscription businesses, we started Stayward to bring those experiences together. We act as a thoughtful, hands-on strategic partner for founders, creators, and operators building membership brands meant to last.

Our work combines strategic positioning, member experience, and recurring-revenue thinking into systems people can understand, trust, and keep choosing.

We know what it takes to build a membership from the inside - and what happens when the value is real, but the story, structure, or experience around it has not fully caught up.

Each project at Stayward is led by Michael Gillespie, a hands-on membership strategist with 11+ years of experience across creator-led subscriptions, digital memberships, and recurring-revenue businesses. He founded Found Wild Media, a digital subscription platform acquired by Pursuit Seven in 2025, and works closely with founders, organizations, and teams across the membership economy and through his role at Memberful, a Patreon company.
